Welcome to Upcountry Learning Collective
Creative, hands-on learning experiences for children ages preschool through elementary.
Upcountry Learning was created to bring meaningful educational opportunities back to our mountain community. With a focus on creativity, projects, and personalized support, we provide charter vendor services, PSP guidance, and engaging workshops for local families.
The above pictures are examples of projects completed by my students focusing on art, math, science, social studies, and writing.

Tanya Waldon Ribali
Hi, I’m Tanya! I’m a lifelong educator originally from Stockton, where I taught for four years before moving to Amador County to continue my work with students. For the past few years, my family and I have made our home in Mountain Ranch, and I’m grateful to be part of this wonderful community.
Teaching is truly my passion. I love kids, and I love creating learning experiences that feel exciting, hands-on, and meaningful. I’m a thematic teacher who believes in learning through exploration, creativity, and projects that spark curiosity.
Outside the classroom, I’m a mom to a busy toddler and, together with my husband, a co-owner of Stellar Pumping. I’m excited to bring the heart of education back into our rural community and create enriching opportunities for local families.
